A second project meeting took place in Rimini, during Ecomondo, on 8 November. The first one took place in April 2022 in Tenerife, and the next one should take place in March 2023, in Italy.
As the end of the project is approaching, this meeting was the occasion to take a look at all that has been done, and to plan on the last milestones to come.
The meeting started with the confirmation that the project would be extended to date only on 15th June 2023. After discussing administrative details such as financial reporting and budget flexibility, the partners focused their attention onto the next main events, which would include a matchmaking event in Madrid on 17 and 18 January 2023, during the FITUR International Tourism Fair, followed by another matchmaking event in Italy at the end of March organised by Sistemi Formativi Confindustria. The latter will also serve as an opportunity for the project partners to meet one last time before the project ends. Furthermore, the partners discussed the upcoming B2B meetings between project partners and their SMEs which would allow appropriate monitoring of the progress made by these SMEs. As the project is coming to its end next year, a comprehensive publication will be produced which would encompass all the topics, outcomes and lessons learnt. It would therefore serve as guidelines for other SMEs, business incubators, chambres of commerce and similar business support organisations to replicate the TOURISME solutions and methodology.
The meeting ended with the scheduling of other Steering Committee meetings on 15 December and 26 January.
