Tourist visits to Île-de-France in 2020 were deeply affected by the pandemic and the restrictive measures that accompanied it. According to the Regional Tourism Committee, Île-de-France recorded a historic drop in overnight stays in 2020 with a loss of more than 33 million tourists compared to 2019.
